Subject: your website is very welcoming

> Your statement of No matter....  is the most welcoming message that can be > given to those seeking information and not sure of their status of being in good graces with the catholic church.  I am active in my parish in st. petersburg but  am down here on vacation and was searching for the mass times for this sunday.  I believe I can make the 11 o'clock mass and just want to hug you for your assurance that all are welcome.

How would you address the issue of one that would come to you that has been divorced and remarried to a non-catholic but wishes to be very active with clubs and activities associated with the catholic church and faith.

Thanks for any response you may wish to give.

Dear Charlotte,

It was a pleasure meeting you and your husband this morning at St. Andrew!  And how coincidental that last week I was driving down in the Keys for the first time in years and remember passing by St. Peter's Church and all the pumpkins!!

I truly envy you living in the Keys!  I used to live in the U.S. Virgin Islands and my drive in the Keys made me long for the tropics again!!

Hope to see you one of these days on my drives---you might say I've been hooked into exploring the Keys (I've got a place in Miami Beach which makes a convenient base camp!).

Hope you enjoy the "Alleluia, Give the Glory"....if you need the keyboard version, please let me know and I'll scan it and email it to you.

Take care!

Tom

Hi Deacon Bill, I have just read your article on fear and needed to tell you how much it effected me. My husband had open heart surgery this past winter and even though we are grateful for the miracle of life, there is an underlying bit of fear in our lives. My daughter Kim Francis just sent me the St. Peter site and the article spoke to my heart.  We need to trust and to let God just continue to lead us.  Thanks again for an inspiring reminder.  God has angels everywhere.  You were one for us.  Thanks again, Joan Height  Milbridge  Maine

Dear Father Tony,
I've been intending to send an email since returning back to Maine at the beginning of March.  For the past two winters we have spent a month in the Keys. When we traveled south for a brief reprieve from the cold North East... I never expected to find a "Pearl in a Sea Shell"  but that is what I found at St. Peter's. You and Deacon Bill are such gifted men, to be able to speak from your hearts and sharing personal experiences in your Homilies.. You can't image how refreshing that is. Just to say that I can recall every Homily that you or Deacon Bill gave while I attended mass there ---is amazing to me..  Unfortunately that isn't a normal happening at my parish here in Maine. Father Tony you are an incredible priest and I thank God for being able to spend a few Sunday's at Saint Peter's, the church with a sense of Humor. What a breath of fresh air Saint Peter's is and you make it that way...  God willing and if the price of gas allows :-)  I can't wait to return to the area again next winter and being able to visit St. Peter's .. Thank you for having such a warm and welcoming church. God Bless You and everyone there at St. Peter's.   P.S. And being a dog lover/owner of a Yellow Lab too... Scratch is a lovely addition to your Church family.
Fondest Regards,
Terry Philbrick

Miss you all...

Love and God Bless.....forgive me father for daydreaming in Church last week that if I won the lottery we could buy a private plane and fly to the Keys for church on the weekends.  I MISS THE BIG PINE COMMUNITY AND THE SAINT PETERS COMMUNITY>

All my best.

Hi Linda
Do you know if it is possible for me to get into St. Peters web site with my webtv. I can bring up the home page and enter the next page with Connie and Maria on it, but I can go no farther. I have spoken to others with webtv and they have the same problem. I used to be able to access St. Peters site. Connie Hauk thought you might be able to help me.
Thanks. Joyce

Hi Joyce,
I have been working on the problem for Web TV viewing and have put an alternative menu at the bottom of the Who We Are page. Please get back to me and let me know if this works for you. You will also be able to access the internal links on the Announcements page but need to return to the Who We Are page for the menu. Don’t forget to use your back button.
Please let me know. Thanks
Linda

Thanks so much for letting me know about this problem Joyce. God Bless  - Linda

Dear Father Tony,

I've visited your church on several trips to the Keys. It is a pleasure to visit other Catholic Churches while on vacation. I was at your 9:00 AM service this past Sunday and found it, as well as yourself refreshing. My good friend Robert Wood of Summerland Key past away on November 3, 2004 he was 82. I was coming to Florida to celebrate my 50th Birthday with him and his family. I celebrated his wonderful life with his wife and family.

My purpose for this e-mail, is that I would like to have a MASS said for him and wanted to know what your policy was. Bob was not Catholic and I hope that would not be a problem. I look forward to your reply. I enjoyed the frog joke on Sunday!!!

Have a blessed day,

Connie,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Every time I visit your website I enjoy seeing your smiling face.  Do you know if it would be possible for me to send two people from my school on the next Emmaus (as candidates)?  I know the spots are hard to get, but I'm hoping to send my religion teacher and assistant principal (who works with confirmation).  If possible, will you send me two applications? .....................Take care of yourself!  I'll send you some ziploc bags for boxtops.

Thanks!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Michele

 June 3, 2004

Father Mullane,

I visited the Keys last month and came to Mass the day after I arrived.  I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it.  I belong to a very old traditional Catholic Church here in Michigan and our parish Priest, Monsignor Guzikowski, is 86 years old and has been our Priest for nearly 50 years.  His health is not good and he is now saying Mass from a wheelchair.  He is dearly loved by everyone, but the word “change” is not in his vocabulary.  If they would let him say Mass in Latin, he still would.

Your Church seemed so friendly, welcoming and relaxed.  I especially loved the participation of your dog in the service.  I had to fly back to Michigan the next Saturday – I wished I could have changed my flight so I could have spent one more day and come to Mass again.

We are somewhat regular visitors to the area because we enjoy it so much.  Your Church has given me one more thing to add to the things I love about the Keys.

Thank you and God Bless you for a wonderful start to my vacation.
