I am active in my parish in st. petersburg but am down here on vacation and was searching for the mass times for this sunday. I believe I can make the 11 o'clock mass and just want to hug you for your assurance that all are welcome. How would you address the issue of one that would come to you that has been divorced and remarried to a non-catholic but wishes to be very active with clubs and activities associated with the catholic church and faith. Thanks for any response you may wish to give. ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Friday, June 05, 2009 8:51 AM Subject: Hello Father Tony , we miss you , already.

From: Dean Reskevich Sent: Wednesday, November 17, 2004 7:06 PM To: 'stpeterbpk@aol.com' Subject: MASS Dear Father Tony, I've visited your church on several trips to the Keys. It is a pleasure to visit other Catholic Churches while on vacation. I was at your 9:00 AM service this past Sunday and found it, as well as yourself refreshing. My good friend Robert Wood of Summerland Key past away on November 3, 2004 he was 82. I was coming to Florida to celebrate my 50th Birthday with him and his family. I celebrated his wonderful life with his wife and family. My purpose for this e-mail, is that I would like to have a MASS said for him and wanted to know what your policy was. Bob was not Catholic and I hope that would not be a problem. I look forward to your reply. I enjoyed the frog joke on Sunday!!! | email received Thu 8/26/2004 6:34 PM Connie, Every time I visit your website I enjoy seeing your smiling face. Do you know if it would be possible for me to send two people from my school on the next Emmaus (as candidates)? I know the spots are hard to get, but I'm hoping to send my religion teacher and assistant principal (who works with confirmation). If possible, will you send me two applications? .....................Take care of yourself! I'll send you some ziploc bags for boxtops. Thanks! Michele |

June 3, 2004 Father Mullane, I visited the Keys last month and came to Mass the day after I arrived. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it. I belong to a very old traditional Catholic Church here in Michigan and our parish Priest, Monsignor Guzikowski, is 86 years old and has been our Priest for nearly 50 years. His health is not good and he is now saying Mass from a wheelchair. He is dearly loved by everyone, but the word “change” is not in his vocabulary. If they would let him say Mass in Latin, he still would. Your Church seemed so friendly, welcoming and relaxed. I especially loved the participation of your dog in the service. I had to fly back to Michigan the next Saturday – I wished I could have changed my flight so I could have spent one more day and come to Mass again. We are somewhat regular visitors to the area because we enjoy it so much. Your Church has given me one more thing to add to the things I love about the Keys. Thank you and God Bless you for a wonderful start to my vacation. Robin L. Hogan, CIC Manistee, Michigan |
