Have you spent
any time lately in Adoration of the Lord in the Holy Eucharist?
Jesus
wants us all to come to Him in the Blessed Sacrament. He is there in person,
just waiting for you. Nowhere on earth are you more welcome, nowhere on earth
are you more loved, than by Jesus, living and truly present in the Blessed
Sacrament. Each moment you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and
make your soul more glorious and beautiful in heaven, and will help bring about
an everlasting peace on earth.
Every Tuesday is a Day of Adoration
at St. Peter's Chapel. In addition to just spending quiet time with
the Lord, consider the group praying on the schedule for that day:
-
- 8:00 am -
After Mass - Exposition of the
Blessed Sacrament (for the remainder of the day)
- 8:40 am -
The Five Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary
- 12:00 Noon - The Angelus and
The Five Mysteries of Light of the Rosary
- 2:00 pm - The Five
Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary
- 3:00 pm - The Chaplet of
the Divine Mercy
-
Chaplet of the
Divine
Mercy:
In addition to the Novena to the Divine Mercy which our
Lord gave to
Sister Faustina
for her own personal use, he revealed to her
a powerful prayer that he wanted everyone to say--the
Chaplet of Mercy.
Sister Faustina prayed the Chaplet almost constantly especially for the
dying and the Lord urged her to encourage others to say it too, promising
extraordinary graces to those who would recite this special prayer.
The
Divine Mercy Chaplet
is recited every Tuesday in the chapel at 3:00
pm, the hour of great mercy.
-
-
-
-
6:00 pm - Liturgy of the
Hours and The Five Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary
- 6:30 pm - Music Meditation (we
sing for half an hour - you may even choose a song or two)
- 7:00 pm - Benediction
Perhaps you don't understand
what all these things are - come, find out. Somebody will gladly
explain. But, best of all, spend time with your best friend,
Jesus.
"For where two or three are
gathered together in my name - There am I in the midst of them." Mt
18:20
